NANAMARI was born in Saitama, Japan. She moved to Yamanashi in 2004, and now lives in the forest of ca. 1,000m above sea level in Yatsugatake south foot.
She got interested in Brazilian music, and started the performance activity of Bossa Nova music in 2005 at live houses, restaurants, hotels, etc. around Yamanashi and Tokyo area. Then, she began to make her original songs as a singer-songwriter, and released the first album “AMATSUBU (raindrop)” in 2008 and the second single “POCHI” in 2009. In 2013, Couleur Cafe Series “NOSTALGIE” with famous tunes of the 70s Japanese “FOLK” on bossa nova arrangement was released, in which she dealt with tune selection and the sound produce. In 2015, she released “Antonio Calros Jobim Collection” album.
